Sigma AC Stop Leak is designed to permanently seal leaks in condensers, connection hoses, evaporators, gaskets, and O-rings in systems that can maintain a 5-inch vacuum for 25 minutes. It is not suitable for systems that lose more than 1 pound of freon per day or have leaking compressors. Sigma is safe for all AC systems and will not harm the orifice tubes of recovery equipment.
Directions:
Turn the silver twist valve fully clockwise.
Shake the can well.
Attach the delivery system by screwing the red adapter onto the top of the can, puncturing the protective film.
Start the car and set the AC to maximum cooling.
Connect the quick coupler to the low-side service port.
Check the gauge for accurate pressure reading. Compare the gauge reading with the table that correlates outside temperature with sufficient pressure in the system. If the gauge indicates low pressure, slowly turn the twist valve counter-clockwise to release the product.
Hold the can upright and gently shake it every 5 seconds while charging the system. The can should empty in 5-12 minutes.
Monitor the gauge throughout the process to measure psi. The gauge reading is accurate only when the compressor is cycling. Do not overcharge! If the pressure remains low, add more R-134A as needed.
